Start the day with an inspiring introduction to the world of intercultural communication and collaboration. Experience an interactive simulation that shows you how different cultures interpret and organise greetings. Dive into the Bolton/Dülfer pyramid and work with a partner to improve your intercultural communication skills. Learn about perception and analyse short video sequences that illustrate how and what we (can) perceive. Explore Edward Hall's concepts and their relevance to intercultural relationships. Deepen your understanding of teaching/learning culture as well as culture shock and acculturation in a globalised world. Apply the D.I.E. model and work in small groups on practical scenarios. Experience the challenges and opportunities of intercultural cooperation in the Ecotonos simulation. Receive valuable feedback and reflect on your experiences and insights from the workshop. Conclude the day with a feedback session to identify your personal development areas.

Lernziele

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to
